First of all for visiting Barcelona the apartment has a very good location, being that close to rambla, the port, pl catalunya, and with palace guell right next to it.

The best is how well the owner, Joan, cares for the places. He was really very helpful, giving us local advice etc and went out of his way to gelp. Also really liked the fact that the kitchen was so well equipped and had the basics like salt, oil, teabags etc when we arrived.
The apartment is first floor so not the lightest, and the area is a bit rough, but not too bad.
