El Masnou (Districts)
A seaside town just outside of Barcelona
El Masnou is a town in the Maresme coastline, in the province of Barcelona, between the towns of Montgat and Premià de Mar. It is a long, coastal town with more than two miles of beach. It is very well connected to the city of Barcelona (via train) and is only 18km away. The trains from Barcelona that you can take include a commuter train to Mataró, Blanes, or Maçanet, with a journey time of around 25 minutes. In Masnou there are two train stops: Masnou and Ocata.
El Masnou is definitely a destination that you will want to visit if you're look for sun, sea, and sand, but not overcrowding from tourism. It's great to visit throughout the whole year, particularly in the summer.
