Granollers is located 20km from Barcelona, next to the Formula 1 Circuit of Catalunya.
Granollers is located 20km from Barcelona, next to the Formula 1 Circuit of Catalunya. There is a good train connection to the city center in 30 minutes.
It's the capital of Vallès Oriental region and in it you can find remains of buildings of up to 4000 years old. The most important archaeological finding is the Can Trullàs necropolis, dating back to the times of the height of the Roman Empire.
La Porxada is the most emblematic monument of the city, built between 1586 and 1587, it consists of a lot of Tuscan columns which hold up a four-pronged roof.
The steeple of the Parish Church of Sant Esteve has a 34-meter tower that was built during the fifteenth century.
