Adele is a British singer-songwriter who achieved fame through MySpace. Her manager was and still is Jonathan Dickins. Her first album "19" was launched in 2008 and became an international success selling 10 million copies.

One year later she was awarded two Grammys one for Best New Artist and another for Best Female Act. She went on to release her second album "21" which sold even more at 31 million copies thanks to mega hits like "Rolling in the Deep" and "Someone Like You". Rolling Stone considers this album to be the 6th best album by a female artist in the history of music.

From here on she performed the opening music for James Bond: Skyfall and has launched her album "25" in 2015 that includes the sensational single "Hello". It's this album that she is touring to promote in 2016.

Adele's tours

• An Evening with Adele. This tour in 2009 promoted the "19" album and included 78 concerts around the world in semi-intimate venues with only a few thousand capacity. This tour did not include Barcelona.
• Adele Live. Two years later came the second world tour to promote the "21" album, including 51 concerts continuing the tradition of smaller venues, but also at iconic locations such as the Royal Albert Hall, London and Sala Bikini, Barcelona.
• Adele Live 2016. Her 2016 tour is already underway, swapping smaller venues for top-grossing arenas over 106 concerts. Her performance at London's O2 arena - the world's top grossing music arena - brought almost $24m. Barcelona will be her only stop in Spain, where she will perform at Palau Sant Jordi, which has a 12,000 capacity.
