How to reserve a monthly or long term rental?

1. Book in advance. We open the calenders for most of the apartments three months before they become available, once the tenants have confirmed the date that they are leaving. The best monthly rentals are the ones that are rented first. The advantages of reserving in advance are: (1) you will save money as low cost accommodation is reserved first (2) you will save time as once you have visited several apartments you are not guaranteed to get the flat that you like. When you visit an apartment, the owner chooses the tenant profile that they are most interested in.
2. Prepare your documentation. Before the reservation is confirmed, we ask for certain documentation to see if a month to month payment for the rental is feasible. The profiles of Erasmus, work placement or masters students are usually accepted. Workers, independent tenants and businesses that demonstrate a certain solvency also tend to get accepted. In accordance with the Spanish Tax Legislation, if a business wants to be the holder of a rental contract, the corresponding price of VAT must be added.
